Daddy’s Girl is all sugar and spice, all sweetness and light. Until he disappoints her. Then she becomes a scared, wounded animal. Daddy’s Girl holds tight to her fantasy of the perfect man. from burned-out Microsoft executive
to courageous game changer
After a 15 year global career in the IT industry,
I realised I’d sold my soul to a corporate machine.
I felt hollowed-out and half-dead. Trying to recover,
I spent years immersed in new age love & light
before recognising I'd simply swapped one
control system for another. To unplug
from all of it, I had to deprogram
my mind and reactivate
Now I share what I've learned about finding the courage to create real change in your life.
Belinda is such a loving, supportive, nurturing presence and guide throughout this amazing and profoundly life changing process. With her loving guidance I was able to move mountains!!!! I truly could not have imagined achieving this deep level of change.
HEALING THE DADDY WOUND
FROM DADDY’S GIRL TO TRUE FEMININE POWER
A little girl desperately wants to believe that Daddy is a god… and feels devastated when she discovers he’s not.
The Daddy Wound opens.
The little girl wants Daddy to take care of her. She craves his protection.
When it’s not there, she’s crushed. And because it happened once, she believes it'll happen again.
We have to heal the Daddy Wound to fully grow up. Because our collective pain is crippling for women and for our planet. And because the Daddy Wound is also crippling for men.
Men can’t be free
while women are in chains.
WE CAN HEAL THE DADDY WOUND
When we close the Daddy Wound, we have the power to transform our intimate relationships with men as well as our relationships with work and money.
Because our true power
doesn't come from Daddy.
Real power doesn’t come from having some demigod take care of us: it comes from learning to take care of ourselves.
True strength comes from self-reliance. But not from an armoured, defended, defiant and resentful independence... rather from a solid yet fluid anchoring in feminine energy.
By invoking the healing power of our own heart, we can bring compassionate closure to the old patterns that've repeated over and over again, throughout our life.
I’ve developed some new inner work that helps women begin to heal the Daddy Wound, drawn from work I’ve done myself and with several clients over the past year.
